Atlus has released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD showing new gameplay footage. Players are shown life before the apocalypse known as The Conception in-game, and are given a good idea of the dark atmosphere that pervades the world after the cataclysmic event.
The trailer gives an introduction to the setting and characters that players will encounter along their journey across a post-apocalyptic landscape. Also present are a number of demons that players can recruit to aid in their journey. The end of the trailer shows that Dante from the Devil May Cry series will be returning as a DLC character as well as Raidou from the Devil Summoner sub-series appearing in the base game.
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne originally launched on the PlayStation 2, with Atlus handling the Japanese and North American launches and Ghostlight handling Europe. The HD remaster is developed and published by Atlus. It is scheduled to release in Japan on October 29, 2020, with a western debut in spring of 2021.
